Lingganay Festival presentation during Alangalang town fiesta celebration at their plaza. After three consecutive years of losing in pintados-kasadyaan competition held at Leyte Sports Complex. Finally they won the grand prize last year, they also compete at sinulog in Cebu last January this year. In 26 contingents coming from different towns and cities in Visayas and Mindanao for the free interpretation category, the tribu lingganay emerged victorious on the said competition for the first time in the history of Alangalang. Now, the tribu Lingganay started their practice for the competition in Aliwan Fiesta 2012 in Manila, and hoping this time they will get the title "GRAND CHAMPION".
